His depth of knowledge—about the ruins, the surrounding area, and Belize as a whole—made the experience so meaningful. Hearing about his family history and personal connection to the region added a layer you just don’t get from a standard tour. He brought the history to life in such an engaging and thoughtful way.The day was perfectly paced, and we loved stopping for lunch at a local roadside spot in between activities. The food was delicious and felt like a real taste of Belize—one of those simple, authentic moments that ends up being just as memorable as the main attractions.Peter was an excellent driver and guide—professional, calm, and clearly very experienced. This is THE best boating, snorkeling, adventure and relaxation tour company in Belize. Being slightly north of San Pedro, they will go everywhere— south to Caye Caulker and all the way up to Tranquility Bay. Earnest, Wobble, TRex and Kamrik, will stop at nothing to find the best spots—n one day we saw a Manatee,4 Eagle Rays, 2 green eels, baby and mama turtles, sea horse, tarpon and stingray. This is the company to use and book wil.Posted onVerified Sunset tour - a must do while in San Pedro We did the sunset cruise leaving from the Caribe resort with Sherry and Justin. Both were awesome! Highly recommend the sunset sail, enjoy the views, drinks and ceviche. Two thumbs up for the hosts, both were awesome with our kids and did a great job representing Belize.Posted onVerified 11/10 Experience Our experience with Tuff E Nuff Tours to Altun Ha was absolutely amazing—10/10 from start to finish. We were picked up in the morning by boat and taken to the airport, then flew to Belize City, which was an incredible experience on its own. From there, our tour guide drove us to the Altun Ha temples and shared great knowledge along the way. After exploring the ruins, we enjoyed a delicious meal before heading back. The return trip by flight and boat back to the resort was seamless. Every staff member was friendly, professional, and attentive. This is our second trip to Belize and we are as happy with our experience with Tuff e Nuff as we were the first time. We did Cave Tubing today and were picked up on the pier and taken to the airport. We had a short breakfast of Johnnycakes and we were off from San Pedro to Belize City. Once landed, Linden/Tahoe, was our guide and had been our guide in the past. (We couldn’t have asked for a better person or guide). We drove from Belize City to the Belize Zoo and were the first ones thru, making it a personal experience. He explained all the animals and eagle eyed them in their natural enclosures. We then drove to the cave site and were quickly whisked away into the rainforests, Leaf cutter ants and biology explanations, coupled with Belize history….FANTASTIC. Tahoe/Linden is a wonderful guide and takes the time to make it YOUR experience. Everything from explaining the rock formations to pointing out look a like rocks and jumping from the large rock…he’s there to help. We came out of the water and went just 5 mins up the road for lunch of chicken, rice and plantain, potato salad and drinks and were then whisked back to the airport. SEEMLESS!!!!!Bring GOOD water shoes, be prepared to make a walk to get there. Buy a waterproof phone case in advance if using your phone for pics. For the zoo dress comfortable and bring some bug spray if the sand flys are out. Wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again tomorrow.Posted onVerified Worth the price for top notch experiences!! Loved our experiences with Tuff E Nuff!! We went out for a day of diving and a day of snorkeling and had absolutely amazing times on both trips!! Esrom is an amazing Dive Instructor! We had an incredible day of diving and felt comfortable and safe, even with the sharks! It was great to go out to other reef locations we hadn’t visited before with other companies! Our snorkel day with Esrom, Sherry, and Justin was just as much fun, maybe even a little more!! This crew knows how to make the best no matter circumstances! A little afternoon shower didn’t stop the fun or their enthusiastic energy! They kept the tunes playing and rum punch flowing while also keeping the boat safe and putting up some rain tarps! You’ll see that the prices are a bit more with Tuff E Nuff, but one trip with them and you’ll see tho difference and it’s worth it! Both of them are extremely knowledgeable about the reef and coral around Belize and ambergris caye! We strongly recommend them for your snorkel experience.
