He was friendly and informative and made sure we were able to to spot lots of amazing fish, a sea turtle, nurse sharks, and rays while snorkeling. We even saw a dolphin when moving between spots. James reassured my nervous daughter and patiently taught her how to snorkel. He pointed out rays, sharks, sea turtles, barracudas and amazing fish and swam along with us. And the shark feeding experience was exhilarating! They picked us up right at our resort dock. We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. We did the catamaran, snorkeling, and Caye Caulker one day. Fantastic! Mainland tour of Mayan Ruins and ziplining! Gabriel was awesome. And then reef fishing with Edward. What an amazing day with Edward. And all were so professional and knowledgeable!Verified Linden is the man! In the morning, we got picked up around 6:00 A.M on a speedboat and went straight to the airport where we were served a delicious breakfast of Johnnycakes. Then, we flew to the mainland, where we were picked up by our tour guide Linden. We went to the Mayan ruin called Altun Ha, which was about a 40~50 minute drive. During that drive, Linden explained things about the Mayan Culture and told us about why the pyramids were set up the way they were. When we got to the ruin, no one else was there, because we beat the crowd. We had the opportunity to climb on top of two separate pyramid. And Linden even spotted a toucan, which was very cool to see. Then we went cave tubing, which was another drive of a similar length. Once we got there, there was an about 20 minute hike through the rainforest to the cave itself. During the hike, we got to see the wildlife of the Belize. We saw woodcutter ants, termites, a tarantula, a bunch of different types of lizards, and got to try some of the edible plants. Once we got to the cave itself, Linden gave us some fresh mangos, which were unbelievably tasty and refreshing. In the cave, Linden expertly guided us around, pointed out the rocks that looked like certain things, like the gingerbread man for instance. And we made a stop and climbed up a little and my son got to jump off of a little cliff onto the water and he said it was a blast. After the cave tubing, we went back to the automobile and ate lunch. It was Sunday chicken, made by Linden’s wife, and it was excellent, tasty, well seasoned, and served with a side of potato salad. Then we went back to the airport and was back to the resort by 3:00 pm.Verified Great trip snorkeling with the nurse sharks. We went out on the boat with Justin and T-Rex. We did the Mayan Ruins, zip lining and cave tubing tour. Everything was so fun! They picked us up at our dock of our resort where we then went to the airport to fly over to the mainland. Breakfast was served prior to our flight. Also, between the ruins and the zip lining, lunch is served. We picked up our lunch from a lady's house named Karen and the chicken was spectacular. The cave tubing was also so fantastic. Do be prepared for some driving. The drive to the ruins is 2 hours and then you drive an hour back for ziplining and cave tubing and then an hour back to the airport. It is a long day, but so worth it. Also, our driver, Gabriel, was so fun and so knowledgeable. Also they have a cooler in the van full of drinks.Load more
